France plans to deploy their combat helicopters to Libya. When so deployed, this is the first time a foreign party tool to deploy combat troops immediately attacked Muammar Gaddafi.
A total of 12 helicopters can now travel to Libya, through Tonnerre French warship on 17 May. These helicopters were deployed to break the deadlock in the civil war in Libya, which has lasted for three months.
"Using a helicopter from the (ship) Tonnerre facilitate land area (Libya)," as reported by the newspaper La Figaro on Monday (5/23/2011).
But the report from La Figaro denied by the French military spokesman. But he was not denied that the ship can carry helicopters.
France itself was known as the first country to launch a bombing of Libya. This they did after the UN mandate to maintain the safety of civilians Libya.
Le Figaro also reported that French special forces also seem ready to be deployed in Libya. Special forces will later be revealed to guide the helicopter gunship attack them.
