This message Ramadhan Obama

Starting month of Ramadan, President of the United States congratulated pilgrimage fasting to Muslims in the U.S. and worldwide. Here's the statement Obama released the White House on Monday (01/08/2011).

"Venturing into the month of Ramadan, and I congratulate Michelle running fast of Ramadan to all Muslims in the United States and the world. Ramadan is the month that awaited by all Muslims. Families and communities share the joy with when breaking the fast together and pray together. The night market enliven the night in various cities from Rabat to Jakarta. and here in the United States, Americans share the traditions of Ramadan with neighbors, classmates, and coworkers. "

"For many Muslims around the world. Ramadan is also a time for reflection and sacrifice. As in other religions, fasting is also to enhance spirituality, discipline, and awareness of God's blessing."

"Fasting also reminds us of the importance of embracing people who are less fortunate. The events of sad about people who lost their lives, and images of families and children in Somalia and the Horn of Africa who fought for life remind us of the equation humanity and invites us to act. "
