Because of the Cats, Thousands Dead in Florida Home Electrical

A cat climbed up an electric substation and causing an estimated three thousand houses in Florida blackout.

Cats are thought to damage the instruments contained in an electric substation in Kissimmee, Florida which is located in the south of Orlando.

The damage caused widespread power failures in many homes in Florida.

As reported by Core News on Monday (08/01/2011), the cat was found dead in the installation of electrical substations.

Electrical substation was designed to lower and raise the voltage. Electricity is also supplied to residential and offices, as well as other existing facilities in the city.

It was reported that squirrels and other animals sometimes cause problems in terms of electricity, like a cat who climbed up the electricity substation.
