Thailand helicopter crashes in Myanmar

Thailand helicopter carrying 14 passengers, including a senior Thai military commander, had an accident in Myanmar this morning.

Thai-owned Blackhawk helicopter crashed while on a mission making the bodies of five Thai troops, who were killed in a helicopter crash last Saturday in the province of Ratchaburi.

Saturday, the helicopter crashed in Thailand Kaeng Krachan National Park. The helicopter was about to conduct an anti-illegal logging operations, but the weather at the time was not friendly.

As reported by DVB on Tuesday (19/07/2011), information about the victims of this accident has not been announced.

One passenger helicopter was 9 Infantry Division Military Commander Maj. Gen. Tawan Ruangsri, along with two journalists, the rest is a Thai soldier.
