Taliban Claims Kandahar Kill Mayor

The Taliban claimed she was the party responsible for the murder of the mayor of Kandahar.

The murder of the mayor of Kandahar, Ghulam Haidar Hameedi occurred after the assassination of Afghan President's brother, Ahmed Wali Karzai.

The suicide bomber detonated his bomb when Hameedi is dialogue, two children were pronounced dead when the blast occurred. Similarly, as reported by AFP on Wednesday (27/07/2011).
