Pull U.S. Troops, Taliban Build Headquarters

The Pakistani military said the withdrawal of troops the United States (U.S.) followed by the construction of new headquarters of the Taliban.

The Taliban also reportedly going to attack Pakistan in recent weeks.

Pakistani military spokesman Athar Abbas informed, a group of Pakistani Taliban move into Nuristan and Kunar. They used two provinces as a base to facilitate attack at the border.

"In this large mountainous area, is building a base for militants to hide," Abbas said as quoted by ANI on Saturday (07/02/2011).

Pakistani Taliban often launch cross-border attacks from Pakistan Kunar to the police station. Earlier, hundreds of militants had also attacked Afghan police post.

"Best efforts to overcome this is to conduct joint operations of Pakistan and the U.S. to trap the militants. Militants would be surrounded in the middle of the U.S. and Pakistani forces," Abbas said.

By setting up headquarters in Kunar, militant have the ease of reaching the police station of Pakistan.

Respond to this, Pakistan should be extra vigilant, because the earlier the Taliban had also threatened to launch attacks into nine military installations.
