Libyan government spokesman claimed the troops under the leadership of Libya Muammar Gaddafi has killed approximately 190 troops in the western region of Libyan opposition.

Many Western countries also acknowledge the existence of the National Transitional Council (Libyan opposition) as the legitimate government in Libya. The opposition also called for Libya Gaddafi tried at the International Criminal Court (ICJ)
