Nepal bans Dalai Lama Celebrates Anniversary

Nepalese authorities banned the Tibetans will celebrate the anniversary of his spiritual leader the Dalai Lama.

Hundreds of riot police blockaded Nepal Tibetans who wish to School Namgyal in the northern part of Kathmandu, where the celebration was held. Similarly, as reported by the Associated Press on Wednesday (07/06/2011).

Only students who wear uniforms are allowed into the school. Tibetan residents, including Buddhist monks and nuns are banned.

Police also detained three Tibetan citizens who held the resistance against the police by refusing to leave.
