Yemen Bomb Kills 5 People, Protest Continues

Tens of thousands of Yemenis in the capital took to the streets to protest demanding a change in their country. At the same time, five people were reportedly killed by a bomb in Aden.

The bomb that hit the port city of Aden, rocked the city which has been the center of resistance of the anti-President Ali Abdullah Saleh. Authorities reported the bomb was planted in a car that was placed in a military security posts.

Four soldiers and one civilian were reported killed in this incident. While 16 people, including 13 soldiers suffered injuries due to the great explosion in the district of Al-Mansoura, Aden's. So reported The Independent on Saturday (06/25/2011).

Residents claimed the blast caused damage to the glass window of a hospital, not far from the location of the bomb. Several buildings were also affected by these bombs.
