U.S. Admiral Glad to Indonesia

Being a sailor would have a pleasant experience to visit different places while on duty. It is also experienced by Rear Admiral Scott Van Buskirk while visiting Indonesia first.

Buskirk admitted feeling happy when he menginjakan foot in Indonesia. Indeed, the U.S. Seventh Fleet Commander (U.S.) is just now arriving in Indonesia. The visit is done to strengthen cooperation with the U.S. Navy Navy.

"It's the first time I was in Indonesia and I feel happy. I had called my two daughters and they're jealous that why I first had the opportunity to visit Jakarta, "said Buskirk Laksdya when receiving Indonesian journalists at Hotel Shangri-La, on Thursday (06/16/2011).

According to him, something similar is also felt by the navy crew. They certainly do not want to miss to feel the charm of Indonesia, especially Jakarta.

"Exoticism of Jakarta, would entice our sailors. They were interested in visiting Jakarta, "he continued.

Indeed, in terms of exercise Cooperation afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT), which occurred May 25, many U.S. crew found time to enjoy Jakarta.

Three ships like the USS Tortuga, USS Howard and USS Reuben James was docked at the Port of Tanjung Priok last month.
