The body was the body of an Afghan politician who was kidnapped three days ago by Taliban militants.
The body is the body of the Chairman of the Board of Jawad Zahaak Bamiyan Province. Bamiyan is the most peaceful areas in Afghanistan.
Jawad was kidnapped while traveling to Parwan Province on Saturday and today, his body was found without a head near the highway. "Police found his body on the street, and he has been beheaded," said Police Commander Ahmad Maladani Parwan is quoted by AFP on Wednesday (06/08/2011).
Maladani was also trying to save him, but to no avail. Jawad had been killed before rescued.
The Taliban movement was a rebellion since 2001, exactly after they fell from power due to attack the United States.
The Taliban militia makes the local government as a target, police and anyone else who has a relationship with President Hamid Karzai is considered as an enemy.
