Bahrain Security forces clashed with Shiite Muslims who were commemorating the day of the religious.
Residents and Shiite groups Wefaq state, police used tear gas, rubber bullets, and grenades to break up the riot act to the streets in some villages around the capital city of Manama.
Shias beat her chest and saying prayers when performing ceremonies in the street. They commemorated the death of one of the 12 imams of Shiite Muslims.
At the same time, they also oppose the Government of Bahrain. "Down, down King Hamad and the people want the regime fell," shouted the Shiite residents in action, as reported by Reuters on Monday (06/06/2011).
Residents also said, some of them were wounded in the village of Sitra and their house set on fire when the clashes took place.
"We condemn these attacks, these attacks worsened the situation. This event is familiar, and has happened in many centuries, this is the action taken by the security forces," said resident Sayyed Wefaq Hady.
In March, the Government of Bahrain which came from Sunni Muslims, asking for military help from Sunni Arab countries are sensible to suppress protests by Shiite citizens. Shiite residents called for a democratic reform.
