Pakistani Taliban spokesman claimed responsibility for the attack they did on the convoy of the United States Consulate (U.S.) in Peshawar.
The attack itself killed one Pakistani man who happened to be not far from the scene and injuring 10 others.
"The entire staff of diplomats from member countries from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is our target," said a spokesman for Pakistani Taliban Ehsanullah Ehsan told Reuters on Friday (05/20/2011).
"We will conduct similar attacks. Pakistan is our first target and the next is America, he stressed.
The explosion occurred in Peshawar highway and cause a citizen who was riding a motorcycle were killed .. While foreign officials who suffered minor injuries, immediately rushed to the hospital.
