Libyan opposition leader who joined in the National Transition Council (NTC), announced that they change the name of their forces into the National Liberation Army (NLA).
"NTC expects this temporary name can help the military effort in the ouster of Gaddafi's regime. Of course, this force is expected to be more disciplined and professional," a statement from the NTC as quoted by AFP on Tuesday (05/31/2011).
Opposition groups continue to carry out attacks against army loyalists Muammar Gaddafi since 17 February. This condition causes Libya is divided into two. The opposition itself more dominate the eastern region of Libya, while Gaddafi's troops controlled the western region.
