Space plane Juno Immediately to the Jupiter

Juno, NASA's spacecraft, will begin the journey to the mission's visit to the planet Jupiter. Travel there is expected to take five years.

Robot explorers worth 1.1 billion U.S. dollars will be launched on August 5, 2011 from Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral, Florida. Juno will be one of the three missions that will be launched by NASA. Juno made ​​at the Astrotech Space Operations in Titusville that will be flown by United Launch Alliance Atlas rocket V at 11:34 am until 12:33 noon local time.

The mission this time aimed to study the formation, evolution, and structure of the planet Jupiter which is the largest planet in our solar system. This study is expected to yield clues about the origin and evolution of the solar system over 4.5 billion years ago.

Juno is expected until at Jupiter in 2016, entered orbit circling the planet's poles, and 5,000 kilometers from the summit approaching clouds. Some equipment was taken and to measure water content and oxygen in Jupiter's atmosphere and find out if the planet has a solid core.

In addition to the Jupiter mission, September, NASA also plans to launch a flight to the moon and explore Mars in the Mars Science Laboratory mission in November.
