NATO Threatens Attack on Civil Building

North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) threatened to bombard civilian buildings when Libyan forces used it as a hideout.

"The occupation of civilian buildings by Libyan forces increase," said Roland Lavoice NATO spokesman, told AFP on Wednesday (27/07/2011).

"By occupying a building owned by civilians, Libyan troops is tantamount to changing the place into a military facility, the building that did not need to be protected and can be attacked," he said.

NATO had previously said it would attack Libya despite the upcoming Ramadan. Similarly, the Libyan opposition forces which now looks increasingly pressing Libyan troops
