CIA embraced Al Qaeda Pakistan Opponent

In cooperation with Pakistan in the war on terrorism is very important to suppress Al Qaeda pascakematian Osama bin Laden. It is spoken by the head of the United States Intelligence Agency (CIA), Leon Panetta.

"Continuation of cooperation with Pakistan is essential to strengthen the pressure on the leadership of Al Qaeda and the networks that support them," said Panetta, quoted by AFP on Thursday (09/06/2011).

But Panetta also warned Pakistan to increase its activities in the war against these terrorists.

It also believes the CIA leadership, the relationship of uncle Sam and Pakistan are not always smooth, and sometimes the two countries at loggerheads.

Panetta as known to be nominated as U.S. Defence Secretary, replacing Robert Gates who will enter retirement.
