200 People Poisoned Spaghetti

Approximately 200 people were taken to hospital due to food poisoning in the anniversary events in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. Victims are mostly young children.

Dr. Lucas Rizalli caring for the victims said the victims suffered from pain in the abdomen and chest, diarrhea and vomiting. Similarly, as reported by Xinhua on Tuesday (06/14/2011).

The victims claim they were poisoned by eating spaghetti served during the celebration of a birthday party in the city Calumpit.

Calumpit Mayor James P. de Jesussaid the the situation is under control but the victims still have to maintain their health and find out the cause of food poisoning .

Currently, police officers also were investigating cases of food poisoning.
