Estoril (News CAIRO) - Yamaha duo Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies assess that the overall performance of the motor they're quite well in free practice on Friday.
Even so they want an improvement.
Jorge Lorenzo is ranked fourth in free practice on the first and second free practice session keduaMotoGP Portugal that was held on Friday (04/29/2011). Meanwhile, Ben Spies was ranked eighth in the second practice session.
"This is not a perfect day, I was a little difficult," said Spies MotoGP official site reported.
He said that his team still face obstacles in the tire problem. In a test session yesterday, Spies tested the tires harder.
"We do not have the opportunity to try the soft tires because we were trying different settings. I am confident the team can make a step forward. This is just the first two sessions,"said the man nicknamed The Elbowz it.
Meanwhile, Lorenzo managed to improve its ranking in general admitted satisfied. But 2010 world champion so it also wants an improvement for the next session.
"We're getting closer to the leading riders. We have to do some improvements, mainly in terms of braking and especially in the first sector of the track. If we can make improvements here, maybe we can get closer to the forefront," he said.
