Does That Trans Fats?

Trans fats are man-made fats to solidify liquid oils (usually vegetable oil / vegetable oil) with hydrogen gas in a process known as Hydrogenization. This process is used to make margarine
Where are trans fats found?

Trans fats are found in margarine, shortening, Biscuits, Crakers, snack type food.
Why dangerous?

Trans fats are considered the most dangerous type of fat for humans because of raised LDL (bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL (good cholesterol). Trans fats are considered more harmful than saturated fat because saturated fats only raise LDL but did not affect HDL.

As a result, trans fats increase the risk of coronary heart disease (CHD) with a blockage of blood vessels. For information, PFS is one of the No. 1 killer in Indonesia.
When dangerous why is used?

This fat man was not needed but used to extend the life of food storage and add a savory taste. With this fat biscuits can last more than 1 year.

Fast foods - fried chicken, biscuits, fried fish sandwiches
French fries, apple pie or any other pie
Donuts, muffins
Crackers
Cookies
Cake, cake icing, & pie
Pop tarts
Microwave popped corn
Canned biscuits

Given this dangerous trans fats then begin January 1, 2006, the United States government requires all packaged foods to include content:

Trans fats (trans fat)
Saturated fats (Saturated fat)
Cholesterol

What is happening in Indonesia?

Manufacturers of margarine is still promoting that margarine is good for health because margarine manufacturers have added vitamins A, D etc.. We also have not found levels of trans fats in food content
Suggestion

Reduce foods containing trans fat and margarine
Avoid foods high berkholesterol
Use vegetable oil or unsaturated oil
Expand to eat fish and fibrous foods
